Natural Beauty Receives German Innovation Award

The jury of experts has declared the ENERGYNATURE Vitalizing Day Cream from ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND – Natural Beauty the winner in the “Beauty & Care” category of the 2018 German Innovation Awards.

Nicolas Lindner, Managing Partner of Börlind GmbH, accepted the award during the award ceremony on June 6 in Berlin.

A jury judged the submissions for the German Innovation Awards. It members were independent experts from a range of disciplines in industry, science, institutions and the financial sector. Andrej Kupetz, CEO of German Design Council, chaired the jury. The submissions were assessed on the criteria of level of innovation, user benefits and economic efficiency.

In the case of ENERGYNATURE, the jury was impressed by the investigation into and use of Black Forest rose stem cells. Börlind initiated the research project and is the first to use the extract – in ENERGYNATURE. The series also serves the “pre-aging” segment for skin after the age of 20, in which Börlind has taken on a pioneering role.

The German Innovation Award honors cross-sectoral products and solutions that feature user orientation and added value in comparison to previous solutions. It aims to make outstanding performance visible to a broad audience.
